La Petit Ferme is one of my favorites. Their wines are really good, especially the Viognier! I also did the Wine Tour which was great. Afterwards I had lunch at the restaurant. The food & service was really fantastic. Besides that you have the most terrific view while you are eating.

Unfortunately we were too late to enjoy an outside wine tasting (13.00). However, had a nice sauvignon blanc, outside on the lawn with a magnificent view of the charming Franschhoek.

La Petite Ferme is a grand, family-run institution that has stood the test of time. The setting is spectacular and the menu simple. Eat a beautifully cooked trout caught in their own dam while looking over the vineyards to the mountains.
