MAISON Estate honors its surrounds by producing wines with care and skill.

Our winemaker Anwan Bondesio works hand in hand with nature to preserve the growth and health of our grapes and our vines.

His no-frill and simple approach ensures that each harvest is celebrated with as little interference as possible. Produced in the beautiful Franschhoek valley since 2008, each vintage is crafted with the same tradition in mind. The result is a genuine wine that captures the unique essence of each cultivar. Our wines tell a story of authenticity and respect. Cheers to the natural art of fine winemaking.

The Residence at MAISON blends 18th century heritage with modern design.

Offering a perfect mix of warm, understated luxury and natural beauty. Surrounding our guests by tall poplar trees, breathtaking mountains, and vines. The free-roaming chickens, donkeys and horses evoke a sense of nostalgia and fantasy. The Estate features seven suites, The Residence, a four-bedroom farmhouse. The Stables Villa, a two-bedroom suite, and the Botanical Suite, a one-bedroom retreat. True to its name, MAISON – meaning “home” in French – the estate invites you to relax and unwind.

Since Seb Ackerstaff and Jessie Verdonschot of COCOON design brand (byCOCOON.com) acquired MAISON Estate mid-2023, the Estate has reached new heights. Their design influence is evident, especially in the bathrooms, which feature their signature style. The open spaces are beautifully unified with unique art pieces, refined furnishings, and original elements from the barn’s construction.

Guests at Chefs Warehouse enjoy a culinary adventure of casual fine dining in a refined country setting. Chef David Schneider joins Liam Tomlin to create a contemporary tapas for two set menu for lunch and dinner. The menu is served over four courses and celebrates the coming together of people around a table sharing not only the food, but more importantly, each other’s company.
