If you want to combine sightseeing, a little bit of action and wine tasting at a wine farm. Go and visit Spier and do the Segway tour trough the wine vineyards. We did a sunset tour with the family and had so much fun. Such a special experience!

Love Spier wines, their special editions are often such steals. Worth exploring, also the Private Collection releases. The estate itself is beautiful and large, but does not invite that much to stick around. Especially the tasting room feels like a factory. Eight restaurant has good food, not cheap though for what you get.

Please note: Pre-booked picnics can be collected at picnic collection. Please be advised that from Thursday, 1 June 2017, Eight to Go will move to Wine tasting and will operate as a pop-up deli.

Opening hours from 1 June 2017 - 31 July 2017: Monday to Saturday, 9h:00 - 16h:30. Sunday, 11h:00 - 17h:00. 

Picnic:

Collection times for picnics are from 12h:30 - 15h:00.

Please note: Bring your own chairs, cushions and blankets or hire at the deli. No outside food or beverages allowed. The picnic spaces are public however they can accommodate group bookings in semi-private areas if booked in advance.

Afternoon Tea:

R250 p.p. for a glass of Spier Secret Sparkling, followed by a vast selection of Khoisan Organic Teas & Blacksmith Organic Coffees. Then tuck into an array of delectable teatime treats, savoury favourites include traditional finger sandwiches, samosas, quiche, petit filled bagels and mosbolletjies.

Eight To Go Deli:

Here you can buy food to take home or you can stock your pantry with quality items like olive oil, pesto, elderflower cordial, vinegars and flavoured salts. Take some sweet treats home like their legendary meringues, cupcakes, brownies, honey or jams.

Autumn Picnic: R550
